To all Christian People To whom those presents shall come I Jane Common of Talbot County, the Province of Maryland Widow send greeting in our Lord Everlasting. Know ye that the said Jane Common for the Love and Affection that I the said Jane Common do bear unto my own children I the said Jane being in perfect Memory have given granted and confirmed and by this my present writing Do fully freely and absolutely give grant and confirm unto my Children as followeth.

   First I give unto my Son John Higgins one cow and her increase to be delivered at the date of  those presents

~ 2   I give unto my said Son John one feather bed containing sixty pounds and what bed cloaths belongs to the same

~ 3   I give to my Daughter Margarett one feather bed and one  Iron Pott and one Cow &  her Increase from this Prest

~ 4:  I give to my daughter Cateren Common one heifer wth Calfe at the age of fourteen and one feather boad [bed]:

   5:  I give unto my Daughter Margaret one Mare, and my Daughter Catren must have the first Mare fold The Mare brings.

To have hold Love use and Dispose of Take and Enjoy all my Said Goods Chatteles personal Estate household stuff and all other The promises of aforesaid unto my Children aforesaid their heirs & Whom the Said John thinks fitt to Deliver the above Goods and Chattles unto the above named my Children only my son John is to have the above mentioned Cow at the Dates of those presents without any manner of Claim Challeng or Demand whatsoever or by any person or persons whatsoever and I the said Jane Common all and Singular the said Goods and Chatteles and things Whatsoever and all others [?] the promises unto the Sd Children their heirs and against all people shall and will warrant and For Ever Defend by those presents of all and Every which said Goods and Chattles In Witness of my hand and Seale the 15 Day of June 1715
