The following genealogy of the Higgins family of Talbot
County was prepared circa 1900 by Mr. Augustive Anjou. Many of the sources quoted
have not been verified. Some skepticism exists on the part of the family for
which the history was prepared, although they are confident about the family
history as stated from David Higgins.
(1769-1835) onwards. Pitfalls of Genealogical Research devotes
almost a full page to Gustave Anjou's "creative" career as a
professional genealogist. Provided

is known.
