The account of John Dawson and Eliz. His wife Amntx [Administratrix] of James Higgins late of Talbot County decd as well as for such as so much of the goods and chattels as came to their hands & Possession as well as for the Disbursemonts of the same as follo. Vizt.~
They Charge themselves with and justly returned and both made they know of no more to be returned
amounting to ~ 6.10.11 ¾
And they crave allowance as follo Vizt.

Then came the above named John Dawson and Eliza his wife Admdx as above said and Passes the above account before me the subscriber Deputy County for Talbot County and made Oath to the same in due forms, which said amount is allowed per me.

The is a gap in the records for the period 1710, but he may have been still
serving as Sheriff in which case he would have been responsible for collecting
any public or county levys
